Why See Pasek And Paul?
Dear Evan Hansen Scribes In Conversation
Broadway has produced more than a few iconic double acts over the years: Rodgers and Hammerstein, Kander and Ebb, and Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The latest names to be added to this list are Pasek and Paul, the University of Michigan graduates who took the world by storm in 2015 with their score to Dear Evan Hansen. Their other work includes numbers for NBC's Smash, and they've become Hollywood's go-to songwriters, penning the soundtracks to The Greatest Showman and La La Land. With an Oscar, Tony and Grammy to their name before they even hit 35, we're going to be humming Pasek and Paul tunes for many years to come!
For this event at the Segerstrom, the pair will be sharing anecdotes from throughout their career, while some special guests will be popping by to perform some of their songs. The evening will be moderated by Michael Kerker.
