A Festive Feast for the Eyes and Ears!
Magical toy soldiers, sparkling fairies, mischievous mice, and all the enchanting inhabitants of E.T.A. Hoffmann's whimsical world descend upon Costa Mesa's Segerstrom Hall this December for the Southern California tradition of ballet master Alexei Ratmansky's exhilarating imagining of The Nutcracker.
What Is The Nutcracker About?
Christmas eve: a time for anticipation, celebration and a whole lot of magic! When the clock strikes midnight, Clara awakes to find her beloved Nutcracker alive and dancing before her very eyes. Together they journey to enchanted lands where they battle the fearsome Mouse King and are granted an audience with the enigmatic Sugar Plum Fairy.
