Ina Garten

Why see Ina Garten?

An Intimate Conversation With Ina Garten!

Ina Garten is one foodie with an unusual start - she has an MBA instead of any formal chef training, and started her career working for the White House's nuclear programme. Our tastebuds are eternally grateful however that she left her office job to run a small food store in the Hamptons called the Barefoot Contessa, a move which kick-started her dream job as a full-time foodie. This year, Garten invites you behind the scenes for an intimate conversation as she discusses her new long awaited memoir: Be Ready When The Luck Happens.

Shining a light on her difficult upbringing, meeting the love of her life, Jeffrey, working in a boring job in Washington, answering an ad for a specialty food store, to finally becoming a bestselling author and television host. Garten has paved her own path and she's here to tell you exactly how!

As one of America's favorite celebrity chefs and culinary icon, Ina has published several best-selling cooking books and launched the hit TV series, Barefoot Contessa, on the Food Network in her 15-year career in the world of food entertainment. Her first book, The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook, was published in 1999! Don't miss the Contessa herself, live and on-stage, as she gives an intimate interview on all aspects of her life and exciting career. A must-see for fellow foodies and food bloggers!

Grateful for the opportunity

It was my Christmas gift from my youngest daughter. We ate at Morton’s nearby and parked nearby. Everything was in walking distance within 10 minutes. To have the evening with her and Ina was surreal. Ina is one of a kind. She fits in to any environment. The show was perfect. Not too long. You could hear a pin drop, it was so quiet when she spoke. Everyone was in awe of her. I would go again. ... Read more
